During National CRNA Week we recognize Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and their role in providing quality health care for the public.
Established by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) in 2000, National CRNA Week was created to encourage CRNAs to take the opportunity to educate the public about anesthesia safety, questions to ask prior to undergoing surgery, and the benefits of receiving anesthesia care from nurse anesthetists. During the week of Jan. 24th through the 30th, CRNAs across the United States are celebrating over 150 years of anesthesia care as well as their vital role in expanding the nation’s critical care workforce and treating patients with COVID-19.
There are currently over 57,000 CRNAs currently practicing across the country providing safe, quality anesthesia care to patients every day in both civilian and military healthcare settings. If you are a CRNA we invite you to learn more about Radar Healthcare’s anesthesia staffing services. Please browse our current job openings if you are interested in new opportunities.
